Real Estate In Sooke
Living the Life...Westcoast Style

A Bit About Ellen

I was born and grew up in Alberta, so, I’m a prairie girl at heart . I then lived in Ontario for two years, going to school and working in Toronto.

I have lived in Victoria and Sooke for thirty years. I have raised a family, graduated from UVIC, and been in business. I have developed a well-rounded knowledge of Southern Vancouver Island’s market place, the development of communities and neighborhoods, schools, facilities and amenities.

Some of my main interests are…Sooke and Victoria, sunsets, family, soccer, playing piano, sports, hiking, swimming, good friends, art, music, beach combing, education, gardening, good food, campfires, traveling, meeting new people, fishing, surfing, snorkeling, laughing, singing, sunrises. That’s just off the top of my head!

I love the West Coast and know well the microclimates in Greater Victoria and Sooke. Sooke is a tad cooler in summer and warmer in winter than Victoria.

I know the School Systems and am always very involved with my children’s education. When parents are moving their families here, I help them meet other parents, and support them in their quest for the right schools and education for their children.

Among other endeavors, I am involved with and support the Sooke Soccer Association, Gardening Club, Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra and Chamber of Commerce.

I enjoy my Real Estate career because if allows me to meet, welcome and help my clients. I understand the vulnerability of buying in a new town, so I help clients understand everything about their new town…the local folklore, the various microclimates, good neighborhoods, etc. I hope I can make a difference in my clients’ lives by doing my best.

About Sooke and Victoria….

Like all Canadian towns, Sooke and Victoria have large volunteer forces that give this area a fabulous spirit and a sense of community well being. And like all Canadian towns, Sooke and Victoria have their own beauty. Unlike other parts of Canada, however, our climate is mild, the winters are short and the climate does not require one to own a snow shovel!
